About Us

Two young men in green shirts picking up trash outdoors on a sunny day.

Generate excitement

This is where tomatoes grow, weeds try their best, and neighbors turn into friends.

What started as a place to grow food has become a shared space full of learning, laughter, and the occasional “what is that plant?” moment. Whether you’ve been gardening for years or you’re just here hoping something survives (we’ve all been there), you’re in the right place.

Our garden is built on a community real, hands-in-the-dirt, help-each-other-out kind of community. We grow vegetables, herbs, flowers, and sometimes a little patience along the way.

You’ll find:
Garden plots of all shapes and sizes
People who are happy to share tips (and extra zucchini)
A space to learn, grow, and try new things
Opportunities to give back and support the community

We believe gardening should be accessible, imperfect, and enjoyable. Some days you’ll leave with a basket full of veggies… other days just a muddy pair of boots and a good story.

Either way, it’s worth it.

At the end of the day, this garden is a place to slow down, get outside, and be part of something that’s growing literally and figuratively.

So grab your gloves (or don’t), dig in, and grow with us

🌿 Garden Work Days

Let’s be honest…
“Work Day” sounds a lot more serious than it actually is 😄

Around here, it’s more like:
👉 a little work
👉 a lot of fresh air
👉 some laughs
👉 and that one person who somehow organizes everything (you know who you are)

Garden Work Days are when we come together to tackle the shared stuff:

  • Cleaning up paths (because grass is very ambitious)
  • Setting up water systems
  • Helping reclaim plots that tried to become wilderness
  • General “let’s make this place awesome” projects

No experience needed.
No pressure.
No one is timing you.

Stay for 20 minutes or a couple of hours, every bit helps, and it all adds up.

Bring:
🌿 Gloves (if you like your hands clean-ish)
🌱 A tool or two (optional)
🥤 Water / snacks
😄 A good attitude (we’ll handle the rest)

Bonus:
You might leave with:

  • new garden tips
  • a few extra plants
  • or just a really satisfying “we got stuff done” feeling

At the end of the day, this is how the garden comes together, not just the space, but the community too.

So come by when you can… we promise it’s better than it sounds 🌱

🌿 Giving Back & Growing Together

We’re not just growing tomatoes over here (although… we do love a good tomato 🍅).

As a nonprofit community garden, we believe what we grow should reach beyond our own plots. Each gardener contributes at least one basket of fresh harvest each season to a local organization we’ve chosen together.

It’s a simple idea:
👉 grow a little extra
👉 share what you can
👉 make a difference together

Because when every plot gives a little, it turns into something pretty amazing.

🌱 Learning as We Grow

This garden isn’t about knowing everything, it’s about learning as we go (and sometimes learning the hard way… RIP to the plants we tried our best with 😄).

Each season, we offer opportunities to share knowledge with each other and the community, such as:
🌿 Garden tours
🌱 Hands-on workshops
🌼 Composting tips
🌻 “What worked for me” chats

You don’t need to be an expert—just willing to try, learn, and maybe laugh a little along the way.

💡 Why It Matters

We believe a garden should do more than grow food.

It should:
👉 bring people together
👉 give back to the community
👉 and grow a little knowledge along the way
